the Olympics doesn't really give anything back IMHO.

a lot of olympic athletes went into debt, especially the less popular sports. because most olympics requires you to pay for years of preparation before qualifying. Training, coaching, travel, equipment, nutrition etc2.
in some cases, the country will pay for you, but in others.....well....

because their youth was spent on "getting into the olympic", a lot of them have no skills other than their particular discipline. a lot of them become coaches, but more just went on like normal people.

you get honor. that's it. honor that's just [really? that's cool, man] to the laymen, and have no effect for the real powerful people.

Miura-sensei is cool. I really like how the manga is talking about those topics, and clearly showing that the guys are wrong about going at it behind Mochizuki's back.
Thanks for the chapter, Moomins!
