At the very LEAST, Say something like “You’re the person I will always want to challenge most Yamada. I don’t care if it takes my whole life, but I’ll throw you back for every time you’ve thrown me... so you HAVE to be there my whole life, ok?"
It's a wrestling manga, so we don't say it got axed. We say it got the atomic leg drop, the people's elbow, the stone cold stunner, the figure four leglock, the tombstone, the sharpshooter, and the steel chair to the head.
It had potential! The manga was at the top of the ropes getting ready for a body slam to kick off this romance …and slipped and knocked itself out. What a letdown.
Definitely axed, didn't even got a "good" open ending, a shame...
It really had something nice going on and good characters, but I guess people are too hooked in Isekai slop to give a thought about different things...
Eh... Felt neither good nor bad about this manga. Not really surprised that it got axed. Literally the single piece of progress was him not getting knocked on his ass during the clash with the toast in his mouth(call back to chapter 1) which showcased that he is getting closer to her in strength.
The editor said "that doesn't work for me, Brother" and buried this jabroni manga. What a shame, I wanted to like it, but honestly even with a more definitive confession ending it still wouldn't have been very good.
