Anyway, I love this. Aya and Mitsuki have kind of established a haven of positivity around them but this is still modern Japan and people are pretty casually homophobic. I'm curious if Aki will be influenced by the kids at school, if he'll pretend to agree with them to have an easier time, or if he'll get ostracized for standing up for his sister. No matter which way it goes, the girls will find out since they spend a fair amount of time together. I'm also curious how his brother will react.

Honestly wth is this manga even about anymore. I wish It had ended when Mitsuki and Oosawa ended up with each other. All the stuff forward is completely unnecessary and is dragging this manga way too much. But hey, at least It gives the author some money.

If the author had a clear story to follow up on great. But right now it feels like it’s been artificially extended so that it was still running whilst the TV series gets aired so the show still has some relevancy. A completely new story or characters or settings would have been great. But adding this onto what has continued these last few months feels like an author in search for a plot and never getting one.

I mean, seriously: the last published volume ended when Aya saw Mitsuki at the show that triggered her rejection of music. IT HAS NOW BEEN A VOLUME AND A HALF WORTH OF CHAPTERS SINCE THEN. Would anyone except the most diehardiest of diehard fans think that a tankobon with what has been released in the meantime be worth the price of purchase? Really?

Pick a story arc. Y'all wanna tackle this out of nowhere homophobia stuff, fine, but wrap up the storyline you've been dragging for months first, then get to it.

To do so, the mangaka would've to NOT write themselves into a corner.

Sorry but what do you expect? If there is a comment section, obviously there will be people voicing their opinion, be it supportive or not because they don't like what's happening.

You are right about the first part, but when an author prolongs a situation after the main couple gets together, it should be done "organically" with the rest of the story...and it doesn't feel like that to many readers, just this

I do enjoy a story where there is more after they get together. But for some reason after graduating the story feels all over the place and nothing being resolved I feel like with such short chapters maybe take one mess at a time and resolve it. It feels like it’s dragging cuz the chapters are short which wasn’t an issue post grad. So I can see why people prefer it ended at graduation after they got together. There’s just too many issues being unresolved and adding more makes it hard to keep up. Cuz what then everything gets resolved all at once? Makes no sense to go this route it’s a bit all over the place. That just my opinion. I love seeing more but this is all

I'd be fine with that, honestly. Whatever appreciation I have for different points of view aside (and it helps if the complaint or criticism is well-reasoned or well-spoken), if I want to read or listen to someone dump on something I like, I can do a random search in YouTube.

Lots to unpack this chapter. It's clever how they show Aki "follows" Riku- too indecisive to answer his classmate's question, and he copies Riku. Then when Riku follows the class's childhood homophobia, Aki is in a crisis! Does he follow the class, or stand up for his sister? I can see this turning into a thing where Big Sis Aya has to rain blood down upon the children. That or Mitsuki must step up and do something super cool to get the kids on board with yuri.

It could be a situation that forces Aya and Mitsuki to work together to help Aki.

I would love to have a yuri manga which goes into the ins and outs of relationships post confession. But the problem with this one is always : There is an issue -> it's an unaddressed elephant in the room for 25 chapters (half a year) -> gets resolved in 1 or 2 chapters.

Some people say it's hard to do this because of the format. Which I get, but the mangaka/writer chose this format. Don't choose it if you can't use it right.
