I'm still getting some mixed messages. I'm a hardcore Yuri and GL otaku, I ONLY read yuri/GL. I don't mind some serious drama and tragedy, or even a very brief stint of het so long as there isn't a focus on het romance the way it is in het manga, because that feels more realistic to me, as long as the ending is yuri/GL. It might be because I'm a lesbian irl and am no stranger to those realistic conflicts. But a happy girl/girl ending is a must, or at least love is confirmed before tragedy or something.
So, my question is: is it worth my time?
Edit: turns out I actually did start reading this some time ago. Wow, I completely forgot about this one. Looks like I went up to chapter 23.5. Hmm, I'll take a look. If it feels like the focus clearly changed in a hetero direction, I'll drop it.

The title is literal. 7 volumes with zero GL, only romance is het. The GL tag should be removed.

Best I can tell, this question is more significant than whether or not it's Yuri, as the TLs haven't caught up to that stage. Rather, I'd say that the most pressing bit is the mangaka's ability to write the sort of... aging/growing up tone that they seem to be going for. Based on what I've read, I'm not too confident.

I do wonder how the tags are added/removed, since if we go to bookwalker.jp store for this page, it is tagged as yuri from volume 1st to 6th, 7 and 8th volumes do not have that tag, 8th having been tagged as "For men", "youth manga", "love affair"

Somebody, just anybody, please spoil me about this manga. The other chapters haven't been translated yet, but I've seen people on Reddit and such saying that it's open ended while some are saying that it is tragic. I don't know who to believe, but I'm more inclined with the people saying it's tragic because that one commentator said it in specific clear details. I love this story, and I think it'll break me if it actually tragic. But still, I'll re-read it like The Summer You Were There and so much more...

it seems that they both go to different highschools, satsuki gets bullied and some guy saves her and they start dating and hina drifts apart, and in uni they reconnect and thats sort of how it ends, they dont end up together

OMG, I can't believe it. So, that one person whose comment I read on Reddit was actually being for real. Satsuki does end up with a dude. Oh, I feel so screwed over. Nobody from there had a clear answer about the ending; a lot of people said it was still ongoing, but most said Satsuki basically left Hina in the dust for that dude and it was deeply implied that she may or may not be dead. I also saw some comments saying that the dude ended being a douchecanoe, which was part of why Satsuki ended up drifting away from Hina in the first place! I still fricking believe it, because this had such a wholesome start and all. But I should have known, considering some authors do that type of stuff to make you less on guard so you could be calm before the storm they deliver 😭😭😭

Thank you so much for telling me about that, bro. I love these stories, but I'm going to get depressed every damn time from reading them again and again. I still love them a whole lot, though.

thats no problem, i was also heartbroken finding it out haha, as to whether its still ongoing im not sure, from what i found it seems to be complete? if it is still ongoing though i may hold out on copium that they'll somehow end up together but i doubt it i enjoyed the chapters we got translated atleast

Yeah, I believe the translations of it were dropped due to something. I don't remember what it was, but I think it may or may not have possibly gotten an official english translations somewhere or the license for it was approved. Like, it is so good. But nothing is looking bright for the future. Although like you, I'm going to be the same and hope that they do get together by some small slither of chance. I simply can't accept the fact that Hina would be left by Satsuki, forever looking back from time to time of her memories with her and longing while thinking about what-ifs. Even though it seems pretty unlikely at all based from all of those 😭
