I'm actually struggling now to remember when this story was good. Between this trash, and the overbearing friends/SSF junk from the last arc, to all the crap with the SSF beforehand, I feel like this series was only ever coasting along on the promise that it could be good, never that it actually was good and was always bogged down by some complete bullshit "DRAMA!" garbage that was forced in to spice things up.

well. I applaud the Mangaka for introducing a loser heroine who I don't feel regret on her eventual loss.

Back when it was still on the original premise "Girl who appears cold is actually a total sweetheart and just needs someone to to make inside the walls that don't really exist" it wasn't GREAT but it was competent.
Then we started to have an approach to greatness when there was a confession and a actual fucking dating arc not just a time skip it caused ripples through the weebverse...
Then they ripped the wheel the left and crashed right into the wall with the SSF shit.

Last time I remember it actually being good was around chapter 40, or before the school festival arc (before all the SSF garbage). At this point, we’ve all sunk so much time into this series that we might as well finish it.

Tbh, I think it is kinda funny how hard this manga fell off for no reason, so I keep coming back to see whatever new bs the mangaka came up with
