Ettooo..... is this the end?? But the last page says 'to be continued' instead of 'the end'. Are we gonna get an enemy even stronger than the evil god later on? :thonk:

Valius spreads corporate greed across this other world :notlikethis:
When did his hair turn black though?
His hair is black now?
Always has been black. He dyed it blonde to pass off as a sage since tamers aren’t well regarded where he is now, and being a sage would better pass off his myriad abilities since IIRC sages can learn from other jobs.

Obviously he doesn’t need to maintain the facade anymore since he showed the true potential of tamers to the world, hence why it was half-dyed for the last couple arcs, and completely undyed now.

Mofo created a fucking railgun when he was in elementary school, fighting better than the one with the warrior job, have more knowledge than a monster who spent all his time reading books, know how to run a company, being the strongest in 2 worlds, godslayer,...

MC is just built different isn't it ?

Oh no valius why the fuck would you bring americanised corporation bullshit to that world is he the real evil villain all along????
Its sad how much propaganda managed to trick the uneducated into villainizing the US. Stocks on their own are a great system that gets the wealthy to invest their money back into the economy so they don't just hoard it. It directly creates more jobs and help companies grow.
The problems don't start with investments and stocks, they are simply you get a cut of the profits in exchange for investing. The problems start once you get into weird combo of banking + stocks and other much more elaborate scams. The problems are all when people cheat the system.

The problem I have with stocks and by extension corporations is that they insulate the people who profit from the consequences of the company's misdeeds while allowing them to reap the rewards. The only thing shareholders are typically at risk of is losing the value of their shares. It takes some pretty serious wrongdoing and direct involvement by a shareholder to pierce the corporate veil and make a shareholder liable for something a corporation does in pursuit of profit, and the concept of "fiduciary duty to maximize dividends" gives a perverse incentive for the executives of a corporation to pursue legally dubious or outright criminal actions to maximize quarterly earnings, sometimes to the detriment of long term profitability. In a single-owner or partnership style business when somebody breaks the law the owners can be directly penalized so they're more likely to keep things above board. I'll close out my rant by quoting an old joke: "I'll believe corporations are people when Texas executes one."
