Remember guys this series is called Baki Rahen, and when its translated its called "those around Baki". And as we all know Yujiro is the person who is around Baki the most and thats why we need another 30 chapters of him doing random crap instead of literally anyone else in their day to day lives.

You know what's great about Rahen is how it answers questions we've always had but about characters who don't get a lot of focus in the previous Baki parts. You take Yujiro - a pretty obscure side character, surprised the author brought him back - and pit him against another gun fighter after his defeat to a rifleman in the Maximum tournament. But we get to see how much stronger Yujiro has become now that he can defeat a gun user. I wonder what forgotten fighter will make an appearance next time.

I mean if you compare him to some of the other side characters who've shown up in Rahen - I mean you had Kosho, would you really describe Yujiro as Kosho level exposure wise? Maaaaybe you could scale Yujiro above him power wise but Yujiro didn't even enter the Maximum tournament and Kosho made it to the second round.

Or think about it, what about Junichi Hanada? He's Motobe's top student, been in a lot of great arcs. I'd struggle to say Yujiro has Junichi-tier relevance.

Huh. I have been following this franchise for years and I never realized until I read your comment that Yuujirou does not have a job. He just tests his strength and gets in squabbles all day long. And keep in mind he is the main antagonist of this entire franchise.
