This is kinda just dragging out now. Like its been some childs retelling of a story where it just goes... "And then this happens.... AND then this happens... AND THEN THIS..." and so on. Ever since they got here. Then what feels like ass pull after ass pull after ass pull.

Like what is actually going on? Are they in a castle or endless void? Logistics wise how far underground are they? When did they get a eldenring shadow of the erdtree knock off?

Is this series being axed and the managaka is rushing to finish in the limited chapters they have left? Because it just feels like they are going as fast as they can to fit everything they wanted into the series before its done.

This arc has been steadily gaining momentum for a while. At first, it was cool seeing somewhat disparate elements of the plot coming together in a way I didn't expect for a series that felt mostly episodic in the early days. It's getting hectic now and I'm not sure what I want out of the story anymore.

I think the series plot is continuing, based off the Raws which show more story to come.
After this they still need to find and confront Luna. And Olivia’s mother. And the giant that killed the Divine Beast. And find out what that laser Davi did was, which got them so far underground in the first place (about 5KM underground it looks like).

It’s just the author’s style of writing that a lot of aspects about the setting are being unearthed, that had been hidden before. Such as when they first found out Monsters are human sacrifices, or when they found out from The Demons that Luna’s Cult was performing all of the rituals.

This Erdtree Bonfire is another Monster the heretics are throwing Olivia’s way to kill her and Lara, now that she made it past Clifty and Mie. It’s clear whatever’s down inside the Ancient City (Luna and them) they don’t want Olivia to reach.

And for the readers the Monster is an excuse for Olivia to accept the Power right now, even if she’s expected to kill Luna with it someday.

I don't know but it's similar to how magical girl suddenly chant transformations and offensive magic without knowing anything about it. It's like there's a certain memory suddenly installed inside their brain.

Because last chapter the divine beast told them it needed a champion to fight Evil God Luna. At first she was unsure if she was willing to kill her sister, but seeing another monster threatening her people while causing collateral damage was enough to convince her. "Come, power" is just a fancy way of saying "I accept."
