It's too early for him to beat her, that's Akita's whole purpose in the story. Would be kinda like Naruto becoming hokage after 20 chapters.

I know that Setsuna winning makes way more sense, but the writing has been so off lately that there's an actual possibility that Akita wins this. Again, it wouldn't make sense, but that's exactly why i'm worried.
