Nice art style, bringing back old 80s style in the current era is kinda cool.

This remind me of the manga "Magical Machina: The Broken Hero's Revenge", same story of revenge, kicked out from party, severed limbs, high-tech prosthetic, and expert technician sidekick. The difference is only on the gender side tho.

Art is respectable, but this doesn't seem built to last, despite the episodic potentials of listening to gathering and primary missions being right there.

I understand Japanese authors seen to just fantasize about being in such a situation, but the childhood friend really should have been more empathetic.

It's clear she's not heartless, yet it was clear the author didn't actually care about her opinion, outside of having basic reasoning. Definitely should've given her more panels to properly explain it.

After all, she was right that he should be a blacksmith, also that he's not made for the frontlines. He has notable drawbacks, but also major clear upsides. His class was made to be rear support and that's not an actual issue, but at least she gave him something to help with the transition...
