I don't know about actors, but everyone knows how harsh things are for idols, and this chapter suggests the same kind of obsession that 'an oshi belongs to everyone'.

Really depends on the type of actors and marketing/presentation. If one is an idol, or something that is idol adjacent (vtubers, multimedia seiyuus, etc) you are banking on fans getting parasocial with you enough that they become their biggest supporters, clinging on the near non-existent chance of becoming a significant other (male idols get this treatment too). So dating is forbidden for that purpose.

However usually once you reach veteran status (+10 years experience or hitting 30+ yo) usually they just straight up announce marriages and people (for the most part) would be fine with it.

Proper TV/Movie actors dont usually get this treatment though. Their audiences know better.

I have to agree with some of these comments here. It is bullsht, but it's possible depending on how the fans react to it. If the production and the main subject of that topic is fine with it, what about the fans? Thanks to Chilla's Art's parasocial and those Idol situations, it's giving me paranoid for these characters.

And btw, I honestly don't like these "pass the controller" memes. I know what they mean and it's a joke but, if they're serious, how is that gonna help anything xD?? Especially in this scenario, you're just making a new scandal xD
