If you can keep up the same quality or do it better and the other group doesnt have the time then its free game. Just dont clutter up the page with duplicates of the same chapter while the other group is actively scanlating it. If they take 2 months or more then fuck it, go ahead.

I'll just say my stuff here because why not.
It feels bad to just stop scanlating on a cliffhanger, and since the next chapter pretty much finishes up the double date arc, I'll just go ahead and do chapter 44. In addition, my friend (who helped me in translating chapter 43) already provided the translations to me not that long ago, so there's really nothing "stopping" me from starting on it. All I have to do is do the CL/RD/TS, and then I should be able to release it by the end of the week (assuming everything goes all fine).

I'll also just clarify my reasons for me "no longer" scanlating this.
1. A better scanlation group is already scanlating this (and it appears they are trying to get back on track)
2. I'm unsure if I'll be able to continue my "every other week" releases while also dealing with college work.
3. I was planning to take a small break to catch up on the work that I've put aside for this release...

Ultimately, I wanted to see On a Whim to try to "get back on track" before I go make any definitive plans with my releases, so for now, once I release chapter 44, I'd like to sit back and see how things will turn out.
