The way the author switches between their original forms and their current forms at certain moments is just fantastic. Maybe it's a double standard, but it'd definitely be way more offputting to see their current forms acting out the scenes they do when portrayed in their past forms; that said, they still put in just enough current form shenanigans that we can still get a taste of the absurdity.
Genuinely fantastic in both concept and implementation.
