No allowance? Is that such a cruel thing? When I was a boy, I once asked my father "Why don't we get an allowance?", to which he responded with a question of his own; "Why don't you pay rent?"

passionate slightly amateurish antislop. cool art and paneling and style and soul and all that, the actual story and writing im a bit iffy on. its really going for it though and trying to be something special, not sure if its getting there but still very respectable

Battered souls, both of them. How they cope with it individually (differently) seems highly credible.
What makes it hit home so hard for me is the admirable art which transcends positive (from music, freedom) and negative (violence, hatred) emotional states into series of drawings unseen before. At least in a manga, that is.
The last time I have been that intrigued by a single art style in Anime or Manga was Masaaki Yuasa.

I was about to dismiss this as GreenYuri without the Green or the Yuri but it’s pretty cool in its own right. A bit too edgy at times but its style is sick.

I have been reading it since the start. And the art is rough in a cool way. Now, the cover art is unreal. Such great covers! It was was made me curious and it looks better in the 4th volume.
