Yep, we've seen that better reaction times, among other things, are having a larger impact. Most of the top players, even in games with lots of legacy systems, are young people.

Yeah, it's somewhat contradictory to what they established at the beginning that he didn't focus on going pro. If he's good enough to hit legend rank in his free time, he's good enough to use PTO to enter a Capcom Cup regional qualifier.

Aiight the info dumps have gotten out of hand. It fully entered the territory of: "the author just really wanted to blabber about street-fighter, and chose a manga as a way to do it".
I don't care how they established that the world is based on street fighter from top to bottom; it's asinine that reality itself is being limited, not expanded upon, to work like some 2D ancient vidjeo game, and then have the peanut gallery try to convince the audience that w/e bullshit is happening, is actually interesting.
At first, it was about how projectiles can ONLY be blocked or jumped over, not, ya'know, side-step them like a normal person? What about picking up a rock from the floor, and throw it at your opponent to close the gap?
Now we see characters just fart out new moves out of nowhere, as if they can just create abilities out of thin air; what's stopping the MC from creating literally any other ability they want? Nothing really limits him to have every single type of grab, including air-grabbing. What about air-dashing or double jumping? Or air-blocking, for god's sake they can just retcon anything they want, and pretend it's sugoi amazing creative writing.
