The fact that you have to go out of your way to do unwritten unlocking quests to even learn those skills is what bugs me, every time I think about it. Only the DLC added stuff gives you the skills all at once, like how summoning his Spirit King gave him all the Red Lightning skills, or how picking up a katana gives you all the bullshit shogi skills for one of those.
