He was eating other culture's versions of his Japanese food too, like the Carpaccio or whatever it was called. He didn't really get into the Japanese only foods until he started catching up to the Maoru people, because they had rice and soy sauce.

Definitely not the best series but I've seen worse. I give it a B grade manga with a B grade ending. Not too long, doesn't overstay it's welcome.

If they can turn off simulation (and presumably other parts of the knowledge) then that solves the mc's problem of being able to know what food will taste like before making it lol all that knowledge seems like it'd be useful to have in a life and death situation

Honestly liked this final chapter, and still bringing back the theme of eating food into the mix. Could have just been a quick shake of hands any everything done in the mental world, but the reflection and discussion was nice. Wish there was more there, and the friend turned boss fight was a little forced and ended suddenly. I enjoyed the story over all though, so I appreciate uploading the final chapters.

I liked it! It is not the best, but far from the worst. Likeable characters I would have liked to see more of, a world with interesting lore and a skill system that differed enough from all the other mangas. Well worth the read!
