Can it beat the monthly sales of, let's say one piece, one punch man, hunter x hunter, dragonball, detective conan, ravemaster, hero academia, and many other big titles without isekai factor?
Fight ippo has over 100 volumes, kinnikuman have over 90 volumes, kingdom have over 80 volumes, and all are still going.
We all aware it has been years of isekai themes, and god knows how many of them got axed. It serves as proof, that manga does need a deep thinking, and how good mangaka convey it on paper will decide how it will speak volumes.

That's a pretty fair sentiment.
While I don't think one should be too considerate of the audience, you can't also be wasting their time and goodwill (like the author of GraPara!... God, what a dumpsterfire).
And yet, you need to be proud of what you're making. What's the point in hating your own art?

Generally I agree. It has to be story that the author wants to tell, ultimately. Taking feedback on the execution is fine, for finding errors or sorting out useless tangents and stuff. But if it's just soulless crap of whatever you think the readers will like then that's noticeable. Way too many mangaka just chase the most recent trend and it results in 95% of the works being entirely forgettable garbage.

But then again, we're talking about a dogshit revenge romance plot that he came up with, so it's all really whatever, this shit isn't worth the bits and bytes it takes up.

I couldn't make it past page 4. What is this translation? It reads horribly.

Just like I pointed out last chapter, several parts of this make zero sense due to the sentences being so messed up grammatically that there is nothing left to save.

Now then I wonder if Outa-shi will finally notice the readers, who are far more greedy and brutally honest than us creators the voices of our ’kings it’s spot on.

I wrote as much as I could of what I thought is what I sent.

So, @Yumegioo, could you try to translate sentences as a whole instead of bubble by bubble, because if you don’t, given Japanese’s very implicit nature, you end up with the mess you’ve been serving us for the last chapters.


Also, I don’t know if it’s you or if the raws are actually like that, but the transition between page 3 and page 4 is so brutal it feels like there’s a missing page…

Constructive criticism is such a necessity and damn right it's embarrassing to know what you put out into the world is being read or viewed by who knows how many people. It's not just Manga, that's why the author made a point of showing how even having the criticism itself read in front of you is embarrassing. We can forget all that online where we have complete anonymity among total strangers we don't actually care about. No one actually thinks of the people they interact with online as real human beings. If they did then Twitter would be a more normal space with only the shameless psychos and sociopaths posting the crap that they do. Anyone whose ever had to have an essay read out loud in the classroom or by a pear knows it's not easy to put your work out there and open it up to criticism (both positive and negative) and see others engage with it like it's an ongoing conversation. Public speaking is literally one of the top fears in young people. Overtime those feelings fade and you're more composed when producing and publishing your work, but you are still CONSTANTLY taking a plunge and doing something most people don't have the guts to even start. More so when you're going out in person to promote it and showcase it to your audience. It's a lot - putting yourself and your art out there - and if you never once felt embarrassed or scared or anxious then are you really putting yourself out there or are you running away to protect yourself? Because that's when you start getting the safest most generic slop and there's no passion on display.
