This is actually the most atrocious example of “author’s wet dream” series ive ever seen. Raise me literally any series thats worse than this
The MC gets literally pulled, yanked, dragged, bullied around by the two yandere FMCs. Literally, they dont need to tease the hell out of him for every little thing he does. They manipulate him, put words in his mouth, harass him, team up to force him to do literally anything they want, its ridiculous. I may be the only one who feels this way, but its way beyond borderline bullying. And yet hes perfectly fine with it. Why? He likes them of course. Even though his utter dense dumbass genuinely continues insisting “but theyre too good for me, theres no one in this world who’ll date a loner like me”, literally until the final chapter. Even if they love him to the point of death, feeing the need to trap his dense ass in order to force him to confess, they could express their love in any other way other than making us feel bad for him putting up with it. And he puts up with it entirely because hes an author self insert. I feel like im the only one who feels this way, but if anyone else feels the same, this is not a good read.
I cant even list the number of bs Riona and Reona did to Ryoya in the LN, theres too many. The ones i remember off the top of my head are:
- Many, MANY instances of teaming up to utterly dominate him. He literally has a say in nothing. If they say he has to kill someone, he will be forced to do so. What happened to freedom of speech? Apparently, yanderes don’t give a damn
- Stalkery, though that’s par for the course for yanderes
- Punishing him for EVERY little thing he does. They’re worse than any jealous girlfriend you can think of. They see him just barely hint at doing something without them (obviously because they’re suffocating) and they tear him apart thinking he’s cheating, then forcing him to do literally anything diabolical to make up for it. Happened more than twice per CHAPTER
And the real crime is that the above are repeated so many times that they get old. It’s like a recurring gag that every interaction between the three involve the two girls removing every right to freedom of the guy, with him powerless to do anything. It gets old ridiculously fast. And makes me feel like he genuinely deserves better. And that’s coming from someone who likes yanderes.
No one in this story is a likable person, at least to me. Even Mio, Ryoya’s sister, doesnt bother saving or believing him and instead soaks up Reona and Riona’s words, lies or whatnot. Actually, after writing all this yapping, i’m starting to wonder if the author is an M
