Can you explain why you like crossdressing to me? I just don't get it.

If you want a pseud excuse to feel like a big man when reading media aimed at teens:
I guess much like reading yaoi and yuri, reading stories about crossdressers often written by and for irl crossdressers (so manga dedicated to the subject, not gags like in this manga and similar), lets you come to understand people that are different from you. Their struggles, expectation and frustration from life around a subject that remains a tabboo in many ways.
I'm not too intuned with how kids-these-days perceive issues around the faggots-and-the-gays, but when I was in highschool if a buddy of mine was exposed as a crossdresser I'd probaly collectivelly bully him to suicide. Not out of hatred but just because I was really mean.
I'd like to think the grown up me wouldn't, and I think I can blame thank manga about such topics for it.

Finding it funny I can understand. It's when characters really want to see another character cross dress or get really turned on by it like here that it dosen't make sense to me.

I guess that could all be being done for comedy too.
