We start this (yet to be)volume with a Trial declaration!
Fun fact: Palinchron is one the most morally good characters in Ibusou! Yes, even including this and THAT
Looks like Sato decided to shuffle some things around for the manga...I look forward to it

Not much else to say exept support me on Ko-fi, and that's all bye-bye!

"I did put a curse on you!"
breaks it and looks even more badass
"waaah ya ain't supposed to doo that." shits his pants and pulls out the magical droid pill because he is a coward
More like:
"Remember, I drew a cursed tatoo on you!"
casually tears off skin and starts bleeding out
"Waah, breaking the curse like that only makes things worse for you!"

damn, we finally get Dia back, she's the one that got the yandere skill and has a friggin laser beam as her main attack (which is cool and could be forced to be "sacred fire" if you wanted to make the nexus with the guardian lady) and for what? to get her almost killed (again), lady really can't catch a break.

on the other hand, MC not getting why she activated her trial there, not sure if it was because he never wanted to face her feelings (it would be more in character for him) or because Palinchron kinda messed him there too, for him to be more focused on Lastiara.

I mean he's the trickster guy that has been playing with most of the cast, and Hein was kinda bleeding out there, even when he said it was his choice... Palinchron is the one that made that suggestion on him, so he noticed he actually didn't lift the curse there. Also he should be prepared to face the strongest knight, it kinda makes Hein more badass as the guy needed to drug himself to be able to fight him.

Man I do like story progression but this is all over the place. Wrong time for yet another story line to get jammed squarely into what was already a high speed development

I haven't seen a single shred of evidence in this series to date to convince me of such a thing. Instead, I've found him wholly untrustworthy for the entire time he's been in the story.
And that’s a good attitude to have!

To give you a better idea of my claim while keeping it as spoiler free as possible;
Him "winning" against everyone is a "morally good" ending.
But most of his “goodness” comes in retrospect so don’t overcomplicate it.

to put it simply, while it's still not clear enough what alty's motive actually is, she likes in the side to support maria's love too much she kind of including herself to maria (no longer on the watcher's side). she instead ends up making her going more berserk (she was already unstable because of her trauma). well, alty is a monster. it is understandable she only understand surface-level of human emotion that she was mentioned she was seeking or admiring before. and palinchrome (the one who should be the most in the known about all this) didn't help because he was a simp to alty (dunno why though). maria will be more broken after she comes awaken after her sanity cooling down.

this one unrelated to the story, but IRL you would find this behaviour in people who likes shipping characters. some people indeed crazy but because they can't do anything more they just went crazy in the social media. there is a person who did crime like burning the studio that makes the anime that person thought it was his original idea but the studio ends up not doing what he like in his mind

understandable. there is indeed importance in properly doing the pacing. but we as the reader doesn't know what the author have in his plan. there is trick like making it time skip if this event is need to happen and will be retold in flashback later. but, it's maybe just one last thing before this arc properly end. i don't know...
