I don't know where the title starts and where it ends. when i looked it up on google, i couldn't find it. could you please provide me the artist, writer or a (hyper)link to the manga series please? I'll check it out but I can't promise anything.

I'm pretty sure that the border between France and Germany is not where this story takes place at all, given the premise and what we know of the setting—pretty sure thay're in another world entirely, as advertised—yet I appreciate this maddened dedication to trying to make sense of Japanese "European-ish" fantasy names.

i think, you're correct about not being in our world.

i thought about france and germany, bc of the names. the characters have french names, while the world plays with german names. thank you for reading. ❤️
