I remember thinking it’s strange that Tomikawa has blond hair in such a strict household, while also trying to be loved by her mother. But I guess it was one of many attempts to get her mother’s attention, and maybe someone else’s too. Or perhaps, at some point, she gave in and did something she hadn’t dared to do before, since it wouldn't have made her situation any worse anyway.. Might be both.

Honestly a good writing man, she have trigger word that send her to anxiety in a second, and how that anxiety make her ignore important people around here

The fact that Hiiragi sees through Tomikawa's facade kind of makes this reaction worse. Like Hiiragi suspects but whe can't know. She can't know what years of being ignored have done to Tomikawa.
