But I like the idea of the rest of them "signing" under her, and then because Chie's not there to keep them reined in they destroy not only Dia's inn, but her entire amassed fortune while actually trying to do the job they were hired to do by her.
The collective room-temp IQ from the entire cast is preserved this way (Mei having the lion's share, of course), and they can each still play to their characters' strengths while ensuring Chie still ultimately comes out on top.
