I‘ve been enjoying the series greatly thus far. Kenichi retaining his old mannerisms despite being stronger is hilarious. Also, him being stronger gives the author an excuse to feature Miu more since the power gap between them isn’t as large anymore (also fanservice).

Having read manga well over 2 decades now, I've come to notice that EN communities are the snobiest and loudest at times. They really don't represent how popular something can/will be.

There's no need to be snide, I think the biggest obstacle to Kenichi's english community is that big chunks of the original series had terrible scans.

On the subject of the chapter:
I think Kenichi should honestly be beyond running away at this point. Also a bit annoying that his actions weren't even needed, I think it would be fine for him to save Akisame's life in this instance. This feels like the Data transfer arc where the whole time Sakaki had everything in hand. I prefer arcs like the Island arc where even bit players can be relatively important rather than the masters waiting in the wings the whole time.
