He could only do that if the two don't have identical allergies, and the thesis that was written implies that they do. How would it be safe for him to taste test? No im pretty sure it was eetsblished the twins dont have the same allergy?

Lowk i think its just a translation error because we are clearly shown that MC knows only one of them is (tentatively) allergic to nuts so it doesnt make sense that he would write a thesis stating they have the same allergy. MC also tells the non-allergic brother that he'll be ok eating it, so i rlly dont think the og text meant to imply they had the same allergy

As far as I read the novel (not that far ahead, just about 3 arc),

this series stay grounded and focus on his cleverness in solving problems and conspiracy. At least for the arcs i read.



The novel is sadly paywalled, so I make do with google translation of Syosetsu site.
