I just finished this and decided to dig a bit in what's the current status of this series. Found this tweet from 2021

So, Kokone Nata has been
also currently working in Play It Cool, Guys (Cool Doji Danshi), and in that tweet, someone is basically asking when will this series (Sensei mo Netto Sedai) return, but she mentions two interesting things:
1. The series has been on hiatus since 2019 (and has been for the past 6-7 years) for NDA reasons (she mentions "I can't tell you why right now, but I hope I can in the future!" (and here we are in 2026, with no much info about it either, for the looks of it
)
2. She wanted to prioritize Cool Doji Danshi (which is also ongoing although its latest, the fifth, compiled volume came out in 2022?), which... fine. I guess (and since it got anime in the past few years, and merch keeps coming, I suppose that's some monetary stability).
And since Twitter has been garbage since late 2022, I can't search more about it, but apparently last tweet on this series' hashtag is from 2023, by Comic Zero-Sum (which is the magazine that serialized it in physical/online) sampling the first chapter on their profile (

No more mentions about it, Nata doesn't seem to use Twitter that much nowdays, but most of her current content (in the past two years) is related to Cool Doji Danshi. I am kinda betting she tried to reclaim the rights to her work in Sensei mo Netto Sedai, from Ichijinsha, but something, something, she couldn't or she still is attempting to get it from them.
(Oh, and apparently she also got married in 2025, so there's that, too?)

It's kinda funny they claim 9th chapter is a last when you can find 10th chapter in Chinese.
I will say that there's a chance that "10th" chapter is just an extra (or few extras) that weren't translated, in a similar way to the first one (ch 5.5; since the previous TL team picked a digital release of the series; the ones who picked the last half, picked it up from other online outlets like Pixiv and other sources, perhaps, it looks like?). Other online outlets (that I can access to, that is), only put these at chapter 9, or well, its second volume release. Because, info about the current status of this manga is so scarce. And you would think Nata would mention SOMETHING or promoting it, but nothing.
