After all the talk about Kotoyo and Gin being captive to the same feelings, and them mirroring Sa’ida and her parents, it is cool seeing this arc end with the outright acknowledgement that Sa’ida is the same as both her parents (and by extension, Gin. Though Aty pointed out the one difference between Stekk and Gin is Stekk made the sacrifice Gin didn’t get to) and Kotoyo.

Also this arc being called “Sa’ida’s Lie” and ending off with her little half-truth is a nice way to have the title drop really hit hard. Man, what a spectacular first 30 chapters.

Lmao I know..... It is, I promise, not a creepy thing to say in Japan. Like not even in the "Japan is weird about lolis" way, but like.... the way she was talking sounded the same as a mom calling her son handsome. Not really sexualizing him.

But yeah it comes off super weird, and I couldn't rly change it in any way that sounds less weird lol

There's a lot tied to flowers, with his wife feeling imprisoned after Kai married her by force, only for Sai'da to willingly chain herself to him, both expressed in flowers.

But I feel this means Sa'ida had died since we know Kai returns to Earth alone. Or that means that Kai's story, as it's being told, is not over, and the manga will have him return to the other world.
