Damn girl, you're a hired killer yet can't handle when your partner actually kills someone? someone who was actively sticking a KNIFE IN YOUR FACE mind u, so he basically saved ur life? Dumb broad can't handle business smdh.
it's a bit dumb but view it as somebody who joined the army, knowing they may or may not kill somebody

and then theres that one veteran who is literally drooling to kill people and talking about making necklaces out of ears
there's "killing to do your job/protect people" and then there's "you would be under the death penalty under any country in existence in peace time"
no matter how much you'd view it as a profession, there are always people who have hit those extremes and I think junior is supposed to be one of those "oh, you're a bit messed up, huh." type of people.

Honestly I can't blame her for being horrified, I mean she probably expected it to at most be stabbing people or shooting them in the head, not full displays of carnage but I guess it serves as a reminder that assassin work really is that messy.

I like that the manga is showing a different side to assassin work than most other series are willing to describe/depict (i.e. Sakamoto Days and Spy x Family). It highlights that there are genuinely levels to it from the mental toll it takes on someone, the morality behind it, and the overall brutality that comes with the job.

I understand that they're both trying to achieve different things and have much more restrictions with what they're allowed to depict but Nighthawk Returns is definitely a breath of fresh air in an overly sanitized genre as of late.

I honestly don't have too much interest in this turf war plot... it's been two chapters now without Nghthawk. What are we doing, mangaka san
Bidding their time with her involvement, when shit hits the fan then she will enter the fray. Kinda like Saitama but she has big sagging tiddies
