Didn't know about this one, but it's neat and I'm glad I'm seeing it now. The setup here and it's drama is really compelling.
Boy who eschews actively considering any of his own autonomy or desires b/c of self-assigned guilt + a lack of self-respect. A Emiya Shirou-esque level of hard-headed martyr complex.
Girl who has an interesting mix of even more guilt but actually has a little amount of self-respect to combat some of it. Like the boy feels guilty over the accident b/c he did something careless, but the girl is afraid she actually caused the accident with a wish of hers, feels bad because this boy is doing all this self-denial for her sake, AND is wrestling with even more guilt b/c she finds their current situationship at least a little appealing. Luckily she's got enough self-awareness about the situation that she's trying to lead him into actually caring about himself.
All of that AND this a GB manga that is actually considering some of the dysphoria with the situation. Sign me up. There's a lot of potential here writing-wise. Wishing the MC luck on navigating herself and her crush to a happy ending here, one in which she can get this blockhead to actually think of himself.
