I read some of the LN out of curiousity and it's endless dry who's-on-first?-style banter back and forth that has zero comedic punch, and robotic-sounding innuendo with anything remotely sexy buried under mountains of euphemism and subtext to keep it PG-13, especially any sex acts. There's literally a threesome with a 2nd girl whose lead up read with all the excitement of an instruction manual for a lawnmower, then skipped to the aftermath, summing it up with a lengthy description about how they had to wash their uniforms and the futon because of all the sex that wasn't actually depicted. That's where I dropped it.
This adaptation doesn't look to be much better even if they might have cut out some of the worthless back and forth, and the art quality appears C-. Skip.
