100% agree. That dialogue is the shittest I’ve ever heard in history. The fact that he blamed himself for her toxic behavior, gaslighting and manipulation is wild. She betrayed your trust and hurt and toyed with your feelings and this dumb ass Mc is here saying “It’s not your fault”. Him rejecting her and the other girl wasn’t even in the question because these Mc’s have 0 self respect. I really wonder what goes through some of these authors head when they write such Mc’s. Do they not give MC a freaking brain to think or what? Cause anyone other Mc with a brain would have rejected both of them and found a better girl but this Mc clearly doesn’t have one.
