Okay I just checked who the author was and holy shit he wrote this manga, how did he come up with this garbage when his other work is so much better (and still got the axe treatment)

I just want to point out that the other series has pretty basic plot. It being cut short after the MC's escape probably holds it up better than if it continued.

This series still has the quirk of characters being named English words: Demon and Second.

Willing to follow this series for a bit to see if the catharsis is fulfilling or dog shit.

Man the artwork of the LN is like leagues better then this one, kinda wild

At some point you gotta stop comparing LN art to manga art. It's almost never going to be the same considering one is made for a few pages while the other has to take several. Like going to a fast food place and expecting a gourmet sandwich. Maybe you'll get lucky but like 99% of the time with the LN adapations, you won't.
