Sadly even though what he did is hella dumb, author wants ana to be the saintess so they "needed" to have a reason for ana and the staff to be near each other. Allen shouldn't blame himself because author is the dumbass one.
Didn’t know / remember which one was the group to follow. But saw they were making people pay at least 1$ per PAGE. Wtf is that price, as this rate, go buy the manga, not a single chapter
To be fair it is sort of his fault. He knew of the Staff's Existence as a player but never bothered to go retrieve it to ensure Amy didn't get her disgusting hands on it. But perhaps there were some conditions in place that he was unable to fulfill. Even in the novel it was confusing to me why he didn't go get it before she could. It's entirely possible he simply forgot though considering how busy he's been.
I mean for the past 20 some chapters he's been working on his achievements to acquire a noble rank. He's a commoner right now, but I'm sure once things settle he'll be promoted to a Baron or Viscount.

In my opinion it is still his fault. He knew of the Staff's existence and importance to Amy but never went to go get it. This is especially true when he KNEW how corrupt Amy was and should NEVER have the powers of the Saintess.
But thank God I marinated this manga for long enough to avoid the slow-burn of the past 15 chapters lol. And to think that I finally get to see these two get together... time really flies when you're living in monochromacy huh?
Although, I'm quite surprised with how 'lenient' Allen was towards his Arch-Nemesis after she pulled all of that. Hell - he was too lenient in fact that I couldn't comprehend what was going through his mind; was he being merciful or was he being too faithful that she won't pull some nasty trick after being defeated?
