Reminder (again): this arc started because Glenda (seen here in Half's flashback), who had about four appearances before now, was killed by some dude everybody forgot (well, Mirabelle did it, but under his orders) and this dude is also dead now, he lasted like 10 chapters or maybe less I forgot.
Nobody has ever mentioned him again, or close to that, even during Barrios' arc.
The cause of the conflict is dead and forgotten and it caused the kingdom to almost collapse.
(You don't need to explain real life events, I studied history in school, thanks.)

Thanks for the reminder, I had forgotten if we'd met the character in Half's flashback. I also hadn't thought of Glenda as Franz Ferdinand and Mirabelle as Gavrilo Princip until now.

fucking hell, this series was so much better before the author hamfisted a magic "system" into it.
you mean, "too much thinking i have to read" right? the magic system isnt complicated or flawed, not even the main theme despite the amount of dialogues focused to that, the plot is always centrered around character development and communication, it't just you who doesn't like the strategic battles leaning toward "analysis->hypothesis->result" than "reveal->showoff->counter". cuz there's two types of shonen battle, seeing the situation through someone's inner thoughts, or seeing the situation through someone's description.

maybe you dont care about their thoughts and feelings, and want a fun moment.... wait thats exactly how Take act, are you Take then?! Guards there's a thug in this comment section!!!
