This pacing is fucking killing me. This series already suffers from a chronic lack of basic communication, on top of the fact that every character is written so they either can't or actively choose not to communicate in any meaningful way. It's gonna be 2028 before we have anything actually fucking happen.

I've heard of slow burn, but this is ridiculous. It will literally take months to convey something that could be done in a page or two. Why does the author keep dragging everything out so slowly?
