You're right, but Sherry needed to hear the words, not the actions. Michio had treated her well from the beginning. He hadn't wronged her in his actions; he gave her everything he gave Roxanne. But Michio neglected to say kind words, avoided praising her, and didn't express his gratitude. He thanked Roxanne and told her he was grateful to her more than once, but he had never told Sherry he was grateful to her before. So, what you're saying is mostly true, but in this case, Sherry especially needed to hear words of thanks and appreciation from Michio.

I kinda wish instead of just reassuring her, he actually opened up to her a bit about why the thing she can does is important.

Like at this point (at least afaik) she still thinks Master Blacksmith is bad and her success with it is just a fluke, if he opened up and was like "actually there's slots and I can tell what they are, your job actually has a 100% success rate and is overpowered", that'd both reassure her by letting her know why she's useful, but also by giving her an extra piece of info the other two don't, it'd let her feel further depended-on.

There is a weird irony that the only time the “harem” works, is during these close, one on one emotional scenes like this one or with Roxanne a few chapters ago.
But the love disappears the second they get together as a harem. It’s just lust, sex, and orgies. But no “love” if that makes any sense.

This is exactly why 100 Girlfriends is such a based series.

I know he's supposed to be blankslate most of the time for the sake of reader, but if he ever decide to open up, i hope it would moment where it could further elevate his relationship with the harem.

Miria seems like she has the same or similar agility as Roxanne and is more of a combat oriented person. Sheri is focusing on the groups actions in the labyrinth, not as a whole. This is making Sheri feel like she's dead weight; basically she's suffering from imposter syndrome. The order, simply put, is how important each slave is to the group, but in this case also has to do with order in which they were purchased. Roxanne (best girl) is first, Sheri is second and Miria is third. Sheri feels like she ought to be third because she feels like she's not contributing as much as the others. MC had to make it clear (which I would have done differently but that's me) that she was contributing.

He probably won't. He's paranoid and the few times he's dropped things Roxanne just goes "Master is Master!" and Sheri's response is closer to "Why are you stupid?" Dead mother, abusive father and bullied heavily at school; he doesn't really open up to other people. It took him a while before he would trust Roxanne to not run off on him. He's still not sure how he got there and he's already accepted he's not going back and probably doesn't want to go back either. There's really no point in talking about his past.

I mean I know she has inherent self confidence issues, but it grinds my gears that just because she's not as good fighting in the labyrinth, she can't see that as a Master Smith slave she's arguably the most valuable asset Michio has outside of Durandal! Take for example the military, the main strength isn't the strength of an individual soldier, but rather how well that soldier is supplied.

If anyone would be honest here she should be #1, not Roxanne, not that Michio would even consider doing that.

The smile at the end was worth it though

Is it just me or did this chapter feel pretty short?

11 pages after subtracting the two credit pages which is worse than some weekly manga, but considering we're almost 3 years (or is it closer to four now?) without a new novel announced this is expected and honestly isn't so bad considering once during a 2-year drought we got, I think it was, a 6-page chapter.

Is it just me or did this chapter feel pretty short?

Manga volume 13 is ussualy due to end of January / start of February. Probably the author is drawing the "extra juicy pages" that come with the volumes. Remember, we saw Michio have sex with Miria, but not with Roxanne or Sherry--- the order..THE ORDER!!!
This is not the first time the November or December issue comes so thin.
