Why single her out? Takae and Ushigome have so little to offer, romantically or plotwise, that they have to resort to shoehorning themselves into every fucking arcjust to stay relevant, and Aoi has so little presence that she might as well not exist (I still don't get why Itachi can't be the love interest since she is the one doing everything anyway).

The bottom three + Inukai are the ones who either have some actual chemistry with Saotome, and/or are interesting characters to follow. A shame they have their screentime leeched off by everyone else.
