You're supposed to put comas before and? First time I heard that. Good to know.

@Mangamoz well it's just a style preference. i think going without looks ugly and makes stuff hard to read but there's not one official way to write it

@girlrotting If it's any consolation, it was a borderline painful conscious effort to omit it in that sentence. I also strongly prefer its use.
