I got bored of it and stopped watching it months ago.

"reading" "watching" is this a show or a manga?? And I've never heard of it?

@Lowfyie It's an edgy manga that got popular do to people thinking that it was about immigration and racism.(It wasn't, it was just the author throwing random BS at the wall for edgelord points.)

tldr aliens have come to earth and they're pushing out humans and both mc and alien antag have been negatively affected by racism. talks about how prejudice affects everyone and how there's not ever any winners in hatred. also murdercannibalism is awesome if you're a failgirl

i wouldn't even consider it particularly edgy ... it's just that modern animanga (especially in shonen slop jump!) as a medium is so averse to touching on real topics that it seems heavy in comparison. animanga fans would blow a gasket if they read to kill a mockingbird

it's of course not like a literary masterpiece or even like in my top 20 manga series but people on the Internet see racism depicted in a piece of fiction and lose their minds

That explains why I didn't like it that much. I had a primal hatred for Chainsaw Man.

I'm just not a fan of stories being edgy for the hell of it. Kudos to you if you like that, you do you.
