Also I already heard and saw the Aha animation and gameplay. What a let down for the Aeon of Elation, whose SU copy already noticed that they were in the simulation.
They also changed the lore from the bits I gathered, right? Isn't Xipe now portrayed in a more negative light?

@BakedBanana genshin impact has literally zero hp inflation compared to honkai star rail. within a year in hsr we've gone from 11 million hp bosses in endgame to 340 million hp bosses in endgame ALSO WITH 40% HP REVIVE

Maybe it wasn't as bad as Honkai, but it was still stupidly inflated. At least from when I dropped the game.

@a_singular_strike it's not so much a retcon as just the full picture becoming clearer with new information...? xipe is still harmony but like in a "if we all become the same then everyone will become perfectly in tune" kind of way. also xipe is behind the stellarons but we still don't really know exactly what that's about

Fate Grand Order, which was the original gameplay inspiration for Honkai, is also toying around with specific characters being mandatory for endgame content. They likely saw their competitor doing it, and decided to cash in too.
