How dare you insult
the glorious anthem of
our great Motherland!?

I say this as a US citizen - our national anthem is bad (too long, irregular form, huge vocal range, it's in 3, everyone does it too slowly), but damn I had forgotten how bad the USSR anthem is. Even before the (ahem) embellishments provided by that ensemble, that is truly dreadful.
