hmmmm... I'm just curios what type of tortillas do you use (not only you but anyone in the US from their regular convenience stores) based on maize/corn or wheat? I'm from Latam from another country besides Mexico and Burritos are basically novelty food, in our food we use tortillas made from maize, but the burritos that are sold in fast food chains use wheat based tortillas that taste like a less savoring pita bread
Thanks Genma, but then two questions, first are Maize based tortillas also sold in convenience stores, or you (normal folks in general) only know/understand tortillas as based on wheat? and second, do your wheat based tortillas also taste flavorless, like a lame pita bread, or have decent flavor? just to try to understand if the ones that I have tasted cut corners with the cost and quality or if something inherent to wheat. Anyway... el Maíz es superior...
