Young generations read manga too, and at a young age. 2010 is 15 years old, my 17 year old brother started to watch anime and read manga a few years before, same for his friends. It's close to the age i've started reading manga, too, even if it was 20 years ago. I understand, it's strange that the gen alpha is evolving naturally, i wouldn't have bet on it, quite the reverse.

I uhh started watching anime when I was single digits but ... I think my year (2010) was like the mix of genz and alpha (this makes me very sad for I really don't want to be associated with brain rot) so I'm not really fully in either generation

Just with a little browsing I've seen even 13YO teens in MangaDex, last time I helped in a scanlation group they were mainly minors... zoomers are basically 20YO or older nowadays and don't get bullied as much as they deserve nowadays, so "enjoy" being a GenAlpha. And well, for AnonCon, people have more or less the same mindset from teens to 25YO so no need to be traumatised (so early). Wait for the health problems to arrive :haa:

On a loosely related note, the oldest Gen Zs (1995-2010) are turning 30 this year.

When did 1995 become gen z if it is literally before the beginning of the millenium

@AnonymousContributor While it's mostly upto debate since there isn't one fixed timeline for Gen Z, since many consider Gen Z to begin in 1997, that's why I specified the years, but in alot of business sphere you'd seem to find the idea of 1995 being the first year of Gen Z much more prevalent.
