This is the only Omaha I know and I'd not call her slow. I don't know about how pages even load with that speed nowadays, it's the Internet speed I had in the (late) 90s.
@Manko-sensei most pages will load if you wait ~5 minutes or a tad longer for some heavyweight pages, but web devs don’t like when the fetching isn’t a one and done and a lot of times pages will stop responding mid load or elements on the page just break. and don’t get me started on cloudflare. it will just loop and not allow me to verify when my connection is throttled. some websites, like mangadex, will just stop loading and show a black page. i don’t know why but it just gives up.
i wish caching was used more ubiquitously. i could just cache a webpage on wifi and not have to worry about shit breaking on cell when i don’t have the bandwidth to load anything. sux man. also, streaming video will buffer every 10 or so seconds with it set at 144p. on the upside, i only pay 300$ a year for my cell plan. shit’s kino. as a side note, i’m camped outside my apartment’s office bumming off the wifi because i can’t and won’t justify purchasing home internet.
