If you like spending a ton and replacing a device every (other) year yeah, an iPhone will make you a bit more poor. I use phones until they stop working, so mine is already a bit old without being top grade or anything by the time I got it, despite that I still get the most. As a brand, this is the second Xiaomi I got, but I have no idea about nowadays specs and quality/price rates, I simply know this one has never overheated, broken, had technical issues or shitty patches.
@Manko-sensei I'm like you, I still have my Redmi Note 4 from 8yrs ago, it's already on its last leg, had trouble backing up chats, SD Card got corrupted, some internal files disappeared. Newer one is Redmi 10, it's good if you ignore the inconsistent bootloops and weird software issues (screen unresponsive except for certain parts and random error pop ups) faulty eMMC I guess? was warned about it from another vendor after owning it for a few months.
Not a fan of spending a ton, don't really like iPhones as much as the next person and I don't know jackshit about the current phone market, that's why I'm asking here.
