I will forever stand on this hill, as annoying as I may be. I was a fan of Nemlei before fame! I remember playing the TCOAAL demo before it got popular and going like "woah, okay, maybe this one isn't for me" not because of that but because of literally everything else. @WanderingWanderer thank you for the og pov, i believe i heard of the game after reading about the itch.io ban. (still think that’s fucked. really soured my appreciation for the website.) but i downloaded (pirated) a copy since i didn’t have the scratch and i had a free weekend and i was blown away.
