i miss that sideways v8. you had to reach between the motor and the firewall to get at the spark plugs. hellish endeavour.

Being from Iowa, I love to crack jokes about Missouri, but it is a beautiful state full of (mostly) good folks... except for St. Louis.
As for GM's engine design during the malaise era, the less said, the better - they had some howlers (Olds 350 diesel, anyone?).
