@Manko-sensei tate no yuusha, konosuba, and isekai ojisan are up there for me. i want to read the LN for tate no yuusha and konosuba. finding the time is another story in itself.

i just love the unpolished feel you get from the work. the most detailed design you get is from the characters and the story. i feel it’s well balanced, and the quality of the story’s progression justifies the sparse or nonexistent background art. or maybe i mean to say because it’s so good it doesn’t need it.

The isekai series I usually like come from manga, which is quite unusual. LN are a big no for how they're written, so if I read let's say Konosuba is the manga adaptation (but I don't like the anime, except for the first season).
