A boy was locked in a basement and trained his entire life. His deranged father, the one who confined him, declared
“The Apocalypse is coming.”
Now, armed with the training and survival skills he had honed over years of practice, he must survive the impending apocalypse.

part 2 since cant post 600 char:
The dad was made out to be the antagonist but after the boy escapes the basement ,the so called "apocalypse" occurs. The dad seemingly sacrifices himself to save the boy and now the boy must apply what he learned from his dad onto the outside dangers.
Its very different from the "traumatised MC gains op abilities and gets harem" trope although there is a love interest and he does get some form of powers ig? the story and character decisions are very grounded imo
